One might think that Poca's pet name was derived from her registered name, however, it was a mere coincidence that the two are matchy-matchy. Poca is short for Pocahontas while the registered name Polkkakarkki (traditional Swedish peppermint-flavoured hard taffy) refers to the sire's registered name which contains the word "polkka" in it. Poca lives with her cousin Bella and we certainly hope that she will be as versatile as Bella when it comes to dog sports - at least Poca appears to have the right attitude and temperament! Which sports she will start working on remains to be seen. Thank you Hanneliisa & family!
