There were two bitch puppies to choose from in Sylvi's first litter and as they were nigh on identical as babies, Jenna the co-owner and I had to pick our puppy pretty much by intuition. Usva lived with three Lappie bitches in Ii, and had even more playmates at Jenna's mum's, who breeds Lappies under the Taikalumon prefix. Usva made a few appearances in the conformation ring and had a Best Puppy win and an Excellent grading to her credit. What is more, she showed great promise as a herding dog, passing the sheep herding and reindeer herding aptitude tests in 2015/2016 with flying colours. She was also temperament tested with a score of 95 points/gun-sure. In the autumn of 2018, Usva fulfilled her maternal duties under my prefix and was then on owned by Jenna. In February 2025, Usva suffered a cruciate ligament injury and was consequently put to sleep. Thank you Jenna!
