Kiara was a joint venture between me and my friend Elina Vuori-Herronen. She was purchased as a show prospect and certainly fulfilled our expectations. Already in baby puppy classes she got two Group-2 placements (all-breed level), and in junior and intermediate classes she won eleven CCs, six res CCs, two CACIBs and three res CACIBs, and a Group-2. She was made up shortly after her second birthday and later on got her International title as well. However, Kiara's most prestigious moment in the show ring took place at the European Winner Show 2005 in Tulln, Austria, where she was awarded the European Junior Winner title and placed as 2nd Runner-up to Best Junior Bitch in Show. Not only was Kiara a beautiful show dog, but also had potential in lure coursing and sighthound racing, and, both LC and racing licenced, she took part in a couple of field trials.
